WARNING!!!...

this post is grosssss!!! and the pic is nasty!!! today we woke up to chase talking in his room saying "uh oh uh oh uh oh" over and over. we usually let him chill for a minute before getting him up. so adam went to pick him up and i can hear in the monitor..."oh nice...mama you better come here..." im thinking what? did he climb out of his crib? or take his diaper off?!...oh no...no no no what i saw when i went in was seriously so grrrosssss!

we had his 18 month (can not believe it!!!) check up today and while we were there found out my poor guy has a double ear infection!!!...we felt soo bad...but he is such a trooper..hasn't even been acting at like they were bothering him at all!...sorry chase we didnt know!..love you bud!

BOOOOO!

chase loves to be scared....he runs around the house after me so i can hide and scare him! i tried to capture some of our hide and seek today but he's pretty quick...i love playing this little game with him...he's starting to shout booo! at me when he comes around the corner...i love this kid, he's so fun!

not quite quick enough with the camera...yes he's gone fishin..lol...and yes those are my shoes in the middle of the kitchen :)

well this may not count exactly but i'm gonna go head and say it does...

i love looking at this wall!!!...we got to have pictures of our fam done a few months ago and i took some of my favs and blew em up!...it just makes me soo happy every time i look at it, it was such a fun day and i'm so happy we have it captured...thanks tyree! anyone looking for a fantastic photographer should contact her. tyreephotography.blogspot.com

lunchtime!

this kid likes to eat! the past couple days he was just eh about eating, i think it was because he is teething and had a little cold. but today he was all about it..on the menu for lunch today was peanut butter and jelly, grapes, some bananas, and a chunk of foccia since he say me eating it. so glad he seems to have his appetite back!

...and that he didn't get it ALL OVER his face! ;)

everyone went to bed pretty early tonight except me...so that meant curling up on the couch with a blanket and pressing play on our overloaded dvr...kinda love nights like these every once-in-awhile!

i made this today....mmmm warm yummy foccia bread...soo good and oh soo easy. and even easier to eat a whole pan by yourself....guilty. almost. :) p.s. what's with me and food lately?!

pics of chase will hopefully resume tomorrow the battery in my rebel was dead for most of the day :/ what kind of mother doesn't have her battery constantly charged?!

"the things we love"

i did a "things we love" swap tonight with some ladies from church. it was pretty fun...there were all kinds of things...the rules were you could either make it or buy it but if you bought it it couldn't be more than $5. so everyone brought their favorite thing...some brought their favorite cleaning supply, others some nifty craft they had made, hair products, or yummy treat!...

i brought these of course......soo good!..even if you're not a dark choc fan, these are still the best "reese's" you've ever had!

and this is what i got...cute little bowl (you can never have too many of those!), fresh pineapple yummm!, and a little choo choo whistle...i was so stoked for this cause i thought i would be perfect for chase!...he's into trains now after his visit with g&p. i think i made out pretty good!

i love you tomorrow!!!....because i get to pick up this precious boy after being at g&p's for a WEEK!!! i am sooooooo ready to see this sweet face again...in person...skype is awesome but i miss my boy! (i'm sure way more than he's missed us...he's having a blast!...thanks mom and dad!)

we have been getting crazy while chase is at grama and papa's house...you know renting movies and staying up late enough to actually watch them...on our redbox list: salt...i liked it, wall street: money never sleeps...pretty good, and dinner for schmucks...ehhh at best.

SURPRISE!

today we made the trek to paso robles, ca to surprise adam's mom for her 70th birthday. all 7 of her kids and spouses, and almost all of the grandkids and made it!...she was sooo surprised and excited!

"manes" and bubbles...

these are two very popular topics in our house. "manes" aka planes are chase's favorite! i'm pretty sure he can hear them with supersonic hearing...as soon as he gets a glimps or hears one its all about manes manes manes....he likes to look out his window or go in the backyard and watch for them...it never gets old...today when we were outside we blew some bubbles and he was loving it....ahh the simple pleasures of life!

i have the BEST!

i came home tonight after a great time at my friend's baby shower to find that my disaster of a kitchen was suddenly sparkly clean...i mean really clean...the stove was clean the dishes were clean and i have a CLEAN SINK....my most favorite thing!!!!...oh but there is more...not only was my day completely made by having this done for me by my awesome husband, but there was a cake made and frosted too! i have been raving on and on about how delicious my bday cake was that adam made for me...and one magically appeared ready for me to devour!...so lets recap...not only did i get to go have fun with my girls which meant adam did the night routine with chase...but that i also got at clean kitchen and a cake!... can a girl ask for more?!!!...i say not! man am i lucky or what?!...love you babe!

BOWLING!

today we went to watch chase's cousins sadie and mason, in their bowling match at red rock!. chase was loving it...the whole scene was quite exciting for him!...when we pushed the ball down the alley and it was gone he turned around and said...where'd it go?...so fun...best $1.50 we've spent in awhile! :)

today we went to our friend's 3rd birthday party! it was a princess party but princes were allowed too! chase had a blast playing with all the cool "older" kids. he got on their tramp and his face lit up...giggling..running around and around...jumping...he had sooo much fun! thanks for the invite aiz and happy birthday sweet girl!

cack-er (cracker). chase is on a cracker kick lately with no discimination towards any kind in particular...goldfish, whole grain, wheat thins, peanut butter sandwich...you name it...if its in cracker form he is all about it. at least i can tell what he wants now when he goes to the pantry and says cacker cacker over and over...and at least he signs please :)

happy birthday to...me!

today is my 29th birthday...for the 1st time at least ;) i had a great day today that started off by gettng to do one of my favorite things... SLEEP IN thanks to ADAM...then some AWESOME friends took me to lunch, had a couple surprises from some more GREAT friends and then topped off the day with cake (made by adam and i think it was the best cake i have ever had! chocolate cake w/mini choc chips and rainbow chip frosting!) and ice cream with the FAM....chase helped me blow out the candles! i couldn't have asked for a better way to start of my last year in the 20's!

this just looks weird...2....9! 29! dang!!!!

i think i'm in disbelief a little here.

lately this little man has been loving on this little puppy he got from gama and papa. today when i picked him up from his nap i caught him talking to it asking "whered it gooo?" about his "fafas (pacifiers). love him soo much!

tonight he had some fun with dada :) love them both!
